Review of “Night Critters”, by Lauren Boehm Lynch

Adventure awaits Rosie and Thorn, two little dogs who live at Broken Road Farm.  It’s night-time, and things unseen can be heard all around.

Their curiosity leads them to new creatures, who then become new friends.  Together, the band of companions sets off to see a grand sight and hear beautiful music.

All too soon, it’s time to go home.  Rosie and Thorn return to the farmhouse, and await the chance for new adventures.

This is a charming children’s book.  It’s simple enough for the youngest listener, and enjoyable for the reader as well.  I loved the story line, and the pictures were so sweet.  I would love to see Rosie and Thorn have further adventures with their new friends.

The best thing about the was that all of the night creatures got along with each other, and helped when aid was needed.  It’s a great way to show youngsters how helping others makes everyone happy.

This is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves to read to little ones.
